The Why Behind this DART Admin Team

The “why” behind the DART Admin Team is to provide the structure, coordination, and support that allows frontline responders to serve effectively, safely, and sustainably during disaster response operations.

Without strong administration, relief efforts can quickly become disorganised, delayed, or unsustainable. The Admin Team ensures that communication, logistics, documentation, finances, reporting, travel coordination, records, and operational systems are functioning smoothly so the field team can focus on helping affected communities.

Core Purpose of the DART Admin Team

● Support rapid and organised disaster response.

● Enable accountability, transparency, and stewardship.

● Coordinate communication between field teams, headquarters, donors, and local partners.

● Ensure compliance, documentation, and operational continuity.

● Help create sustainable handovers to local partners and long-term recovery teams.

The frontline team delivers aid. The Admin Team makes sure the frontline team can keep delivering aid effectively.
