Role Title: DART Logistics Coordinator (Volunteer)
Location: Deployable (Domestic & International Disaster Response)
Commitment: Disaster deployments (minimum 3 weeks), with training and preparation throughout the year
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and solution-focused volunteer to join the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) as a Logistics Coordinator.
Behind every successful disaster response is a well-coordinated logistics operation. As the Logistics Coordinator, you’ll oversee the movement of humanitarian aid from shipment through to storage, transport, inventory management, and delivery. Working closely with aid distribution teams, customs officials, transport providers, and partner organisations, you’ll help ensure relief supplies reach communities safely, efficiently, and accountably.

● Coordinate the shipment, transport, storage, and tracking of humanitarian aid and Gifts-in-Kind (GIK)
● Manage customs clearance, transport arrangements, and warehouse operations
● Monitor inventory and maintain accurate records of relief supplies
● Coordinate closely with Aid
● Distribution and field teams to ensure supplies reach those who need them
● Liaise with transport providers, customs officials, local partners, and humanitarian organisations
● Develop practical logistics solutions to overcome operational challenges
● Support the Team Leader with logistics planning, reporting, and operational coordination
● Highly organised and able to coordinate multiple priorities effectively
● Experienced in logistics, shipping, warehousing, supply chain, or operational coordination
● A practical problem solver who remains calm under pressure
● A strong communicator who enjoys working with diverse teams and stakeholders
● Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic and challenging environments
● Passionate about humanitarian aid and serving communities in crisis
