Medical Missions

What are Medical Missions?

GAiN gathers a team of compassionate volunteers and health care professionals who travel to people in remote areas who lack access to general medicine, minor surgery, dentistry, optometry and health education. Assisting with the practical needs of people allows us to pray with them and run bible based activities for their children, which opens doors for people to hear about the love of God through our local partners.

Consequently, people are introduced to the love of Jesus, and connected to support networks of local churches and believers. We have the privilege of seeing thousands of lives changed physically and spiritually with new churches being planted as a result.

What if I'm not a Medical Professional...?

Anyone can get involved! You don’t need any experience in a medical background to be a volunteer on one of medical missions. All you need is a willingness to serve humbly and an open heart to see God at work.

Besides medical professionals, we are also looking for people who can fill the following roles to ensure the success of our medical missions, such as translators, volunteers for children’s ministry, crowd control, counsellors and general administration.
