Role Title: DART Equipment Coordinator (Volunteer)
Location: Deployable (Domestic & International Disaster Response)
Commitment: Disaster deployments (minimum 3 weeks), with training and preparation throughout the year
We’re looking for a practical, resourceful, and dependable volunteer to join the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) as an Equipment Coordinator.
When disaster strikes, reliable equipment can make all the difference. As the Equipment Coordinator, you’ll ensure vehicles, generators, tools, camp infrastructure, and operational equipment are maintained, organised, and ready for deployment. Your role will keep the team equipped to respond safely and effectively in challenging environments, allowing humanitarian aid to reach those who need it most.

● Maintain and oversee vehicles, generators, tools, and operational field equipment
● Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance and repairs when required
● Support the setup and operation of field camps and associated infrastructure
● Manage equipment inventories and prepare equipment for deployment and return transport
● Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise operational disruptions
● Promote safe use of equipment and identify potential safety risks
● Support field teams with equipment and operational needs throughout disaster response missions
● Practical, hands-on, and mechanically minded
● Organised and able to manage equipment and resources effectively
