At GAiN, we believe that how we care for people matters just as much as what we do. Behind every project, every trip, and every partnership are people, and we want them to feel seen, valued, and supported.

We are inviting compassionate, people-focused individuals to join our GAiN Care Team, a volunteer role dedicated to strengthening the wellbeing and connection of our team, donors, and partners.

If you naturally check in on others, love encouraging people, and want to help build a culture of care and belonging, this role could be a beautiful fit for you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the GAiN Care Team, you’ll help create a culture where people feel genuinely supported, whether they are staff, volunteers, donors, or partners.

This is not a clinical role. It’s relational, thoughtful, and deeply human. It’s about listening, noticing, encouraging, and being present.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Caring for Our Team
● Checking in with staff and volunteers
● Offering encouragement, prayer, and support
● Helping people feel connected and valued

 

Supporting Donors & Partners
● Building meaningful relationships beyond transactions
● Expressing appreciation and staying connected
● Noticing important moments and reaching out with care

 

Building a Culture of Care
● Helping create a warm, supportive, and connected community
● Encouraging a culture of kindness, unity, and belonging
● Supporting team connection moments and initiatives

 

Providing Gentle Support
● Being a listening ear when needed
● Responding with empathy, wisdom, and discretion
● Supporting others through both challenges and celebrations
