This is where change begins

Everything starts with one bold belief: when someone is in need, they come first.

That belief turned into action on a freezing Christmas Day in 1990, when Klaus joined a small team in Germany to drive two trucks full of aid toward the freezing Soviet Union. In Canada it was the response to a Hurricane disaster in 1998. No excuses. No distance too far. Just presence.

The love of God made visible in word and deed, through food, clothing and clean water.

 

That first journey sparked something greater: a mission that connects people and continues to this day.

We deliver help right to the person

Our trucks carry more than anonymous boxes, but compassion, hope and dignity. Through a large network, strong logistics and trusted local partners, we make sure help reaches the people who truly need it. No far distant programs, but hands-on and deeply human.

 

What we do is driven by faith and focused on lives, because when people are seen, everything can change.

GAiN has grown its capacity to respond to crises and alleviate suffering around the world, with offices in nine nations and projects in over 52 countries. We exist to demonstrate the love of God by revealing hope and restoring life through relief and development initiatives for people living in crisis and injustice.

Our vision

Our Mission is to demonstrates the love of God by revealing hope and restoring life through relief and development initiatives for people living in crisis and injustice.

We are committed to achieving our goals by concentrating on three primary areas: humanitarian aid and development initiatives, ensuring access to clean water, and implementing effective disaster response operations worldwide.

GAiN Australia has three focus areas:

Humanitarian Aid and Development

  • We run short-term medical missions in the Philippines, India, Cambodia and Vietnam, working with local teams to ensure the work continues even after the short-term teams leave.

Water

  • We have an initiative to bring safe drinking water to local communities in Africa and Fiji. GAiN is able to provide the local community with clean water, health education and other development opportunities.

  • We respond to major disasters when there is a need through our global connections.

We intentionally promote the local church as a key partner and allow it to be seen as the center for community development. By showing humanitarian kindness, we help our local partners gain access, build credibility, and increase effectiveness in their own communities.

Sharing the transforming message of God's love is foundational to our work and is a guiding principle for all our activities.

We remain impartial and non-discriminatory in the delivery of aid and executing community development projects.
