Role Title: Mission Team Leader (Short-Term International Trips)
Location: Asia & Pacific (Field-Based)
Commitment: 10-14 days per trip + preparation & debrief
We are looking for passionate, capable, and servant-hearted leaders to join us as Mission Team Leaders for short-term international trips.
This role is more than coordination, it’s about leading people, building relationships across cultures, and helping deliver meaningful, life-changing work in partnership with local communities.

As a Mission Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team on the ground during short-term mission trips (10–14 days) across Asia and the Pacific. You will oversee logistics, care for your team, manage relationships with local partners, and ensure the smooth and safe delivery of all activities.
You’ll work closely with our International Projects Manager from planning through to post-trip reporting.
Leading & Caring for Your Team
● Provide strong, servant-hearted leadership to your team
● Foster unity, wellbeing, and a positive team culture
● Support team members spiritually, emotionally, and practically
Managing In-Field Logistics
● Oversee day-to-day coordination including transport, accommodation, and schedules
● Ensure all activities run smoothly and adapt plans as needed
Financial Stewardship
● Manage in-country budgets and expenses responsibly
● Track and report on all spending
Building Relationships
● Act as the key point of contact with in-country partners
● Build strong, respectful, and culturally sensitive relationships
Working with International Projects Team
● Collaborate in pre-trip planning and preparation
● Contribute to risk assessments and contingency planning
● Complete post-trip reports with insights and outcomes
Risk & Crisis Management
● Identify risks and implement safety measures
● Lead confidently through unexpected situations or challenges
● Ensure team safety and wellbeing at all times
● Proven leadership experience (formal or informal)
● Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
● Ability to lead under pressure and adapt in changing environments
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● High level of cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence
● Passion for mission work and serving others
Desirable:
● Experience leading teams or groups in cross-cultural or international settings
● Background in missions, humanitarian work, or community development
● Experience in logistics, project coordination, or crisis management
