PHILIPPINES DISASTER RESPONSE

In December 2021 Super Typhoon Rai hit the Philippines. Since then, 400 people have lost their lives, 830,000 houses have been damaged, with over half a million displaced from their homes, and 6.8 million people left in desperate humanitarian need.

The current need is drinking water, food, electricity and communication signals. In response to this, GAiN is raising $20,000 to help distribute food, water, clothing, building materials for houses and churches, and mini generator units.

GAiN’s team in the Philippines has been mobilised and relief operations in the islands of Cebu, Bohol and Leyte have begun.

Through God’s grace, this is an opportunity to show compassion and give HOPE to our neighbours in the Philippines.

Would you help us reach those in need during this difficult time?
