During this mission, GAiN aims to show the love of God to people in need through word and deed. We will provide medical help as well as free medicines and humanitarian aid to the people we encounter.
We are looking for team members who are willing to serve in any capacity. Medical positions include nurses, doctors, pharmacists, optometrists, dentists, ect. We are also looking for people who can fill the following roles to ensure the success of the mission: translators, volunteers for children’s ministry, crowd control, counsellors and general administration.
A donation of $3,000 will qualify the individual to be selected to be part of the missions team. GAiN will select medical professionals and other essential service volunteers to form a balanced team for each mission. As well as the donation covering the individual’s personal expenses (return international air fares, accommodation, transportation, food, sightseeing expenses and GAiN T-shirts), a portion is used to help run the mission through the purchase of medicines, covering expenses of local volunteers and helping support our local partners. We encourage you to seek the support of your local church or approach other donors in raising these funds. Without the participation of our Australian volunteers our medical missions would not be possible.
